Kord Attracts Global Interest After Exhibiting the RACU Technology at SOF Week 23

SOF WEEK ran over four days, from 8-11th of May 2023 in Tempa, Florida, United States. It was one of almost 40 Australian companies to be selected for the event.

Kord demonstrated how its Rifle Accessory Control Unit (RACU) System allows soldiers to quickly operate body-worn and weapon-mounted devices such as a radios, laser aimers, and torches without them having to take their eyes off the target or their hands off their weapon.

Kord showcased two variations of its RACU 3-button Commander System. One demonstrated control of a standard laser aimer [AN/PEQ-15], flashlight and radio [AN/PRC-152]. The other demonstrated, for the first time, direct control of a Motorola radio through application of a BLE-enabled side connector which can be applied to a range of radio systems.
