Australian Soldier Systems Control Technology on Display at AUSA 2026

14 October 2026

Kord Group joined Team Defence Australia at the AUSA Annual Meeting & Exposition 2026, held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. from 12-14 October, showcasing Australian-developed Soldier Systems Control Technology to one of the world's largest gatherings of military, government and defence industry stakeholders.

Representing Kord Group at the event were Dr Peter Moran, Zeke Williams, Greg Roper and Jeremy Hedgspeth, who engaged with industry partners, military personnel, acquisition professionals and key decision-makers from across the defence community. Operating from the Team Defence Australia pavilion provided an excellent platform to strengthen existing relationships, establish new connections and discuss emerging capability requirements within the United States and allied defence markets.

Throughout the three-day event, the Kord team showcased the company's Soldier Systems Control Technology, including its Rifle Accessory Control Unit (RACU) technology, and participated in a range of discussions focused on current operational requirements, system integration opportunities, training and evaluation activities, and potential pathways to future procurement and fielding.

The exhibition provided valuable opportunities to engage directly with military end users, program offices and industry partners, enabling productive conversations around the challenges associated with managing increasingly complex battlefield systems and the importance of intuitive, interoperable solutions that enhance operational effectiveness.

AUSA also provided an opportunity to highlight Kord Group's growing work with the US Army, including support delivered through its contract with Kord Defense Solutions in the United States. These activities further demonstrate the relevance of Kord's Soldier Systems Control Technology in supporting the integration and management of modern dismounted soldier capabilities.

Dr Peter Moran, Managing Director of Kord Group, said the event reinforced the value of maintaining a strong presence within the US defence market and continuing direct engagement with key stakeholders.

"AUSA continues to be an important forum for connecting with military users, acquisition organisations and industry partners who are focused on delivering enhanced capability to the warfighter," Dr Moran said.

Kord Group would like to thank Team Defence Australia, industry partners and all visitors who took the time to meet with the team during AUSA 2026.
